A Brand Revolt program

Privacy Policy

How DMO Jam handles your information.

Last updated October 2, 2026

The short version: we collect what we need to run the programme and nothing else. We don’t sell your data, we don’t advertise to you, and there are no tracking or analytics cookies on this site. What you write inside the community stays inside your cohort.

1. Who we are

DMO Jam is operated by Sorenson Advertising LLC d/b/a Brand Revolt, a Utah limited liability company, 333 W 2230 N, Suite 200, Provo, UT 84604. For anything in this policy, write to dmojam@thebrandrevolt.com. We are the data controller for the information described here.

2. What we collect

When you apply. Your name, work email, phone number, organization, job title, and your answers to the application questions — including your annual marketing budget band and what you’re working on. You give us this; we don’t collect it from anywhere else.

When you become a member. Your profile — photo, bio, location, LinkedIn — and everything you choose to post: discussions, comments, reactions, direct messages, event RSVPs, poll answers, wins, and questions you ask the assistant.

When you sign in with Google. Your name, email address and profile picture from Google. Nothing else, and only to match you to the account you already have. Signing in with Google never creates an account.

When you report a problem. What you write, plus the page you were on, your browser and window size, and the last few errors your browser logged — so we can find the bug without asking you to explain it. Screenshots you attach are private to you and the DMO Jam team.

Billing. We record what you were invoiced and whether it’s been paid. We never see or store your card or bank details — invoices are issued and paid through QuickBooks.

Sessions. Group sessions are recorded. Recordings, transcripts and materials go into the member library. You are told at the start of every session; if you’d rather something not be recorded, say so and it won’t be.

1:1s with Adam. When you book a 1:1, we add it to Adam’s Google Calendar and Google sends you the invite with a Google Meet link. 1:1s are recorded and transcribed by Google Meet. Afterwards we copy the recording and transcript onto your 1:1 in DMO Jam, alongside Adam’s private notes and any summary he shares with you. Your 1:1 recordings and transcripts are visible only to you and DMO Jam administrators. They never go into the member library, and the AI assistant cannot read them. Before each 1:1, administrators receive a prep note drawn from what is already on the site: your profile, which sessions you attended, how active you’ve been, notes you left on polls, and your last 1:1. If you’d rather a 1:1 not be recorded, tell Adam and it won’t be.

3. Why we collect it

Where UK or EU data protection law applies to you, our lawful bases are performing our contract with you, your consent where you gave it, and our legitimate interest in running a secure, functioning community.

4. Who sees what inside the community

This is the part that matters most in a peer group. What you post in a cohort room is visible only to that cohort and to DMO Jam administrators. Other cohorts cannot see it — not through the site, not through search, and not through the AI assistant, which can only draw on material you are already allowed to open.

Administrators are Adam Stoker, Colby Remund and Sierra Vaughn. They can see everything in the community in order to run it.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use these companies to run the service, and they only process your data on our instructions:

We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of members.

6. Cookies

This site sets four cookies, all of them necessary for it to work. There is no advertising, analytics, tracking or profiling cookie anywhere on this site, and no third-party pixels — which is why you aren’t being asked to accept anything.

The site also stores one small preference in your own browser (whether you’ve dismissed the welcome video). It never leaves your device. If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

7. How long we keep it

Your account and what you posted stay while you are a member. If your membership ends, we keep your account for twelve months in case you return, then delete or anonymise it on request or as part of our routine clean-up. Discussion left in the community remains, attributed to a former member, so conversations other people relied on don’t fall apart — ask us and we will remove yours. Financial records are kept for seven years because tax law requires it.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy in a portable format. You can object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you gave. Write to dmojam@thebrandrevolt.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can change most of it yourself in Settings.

If you are in the UK or EU you may complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the rights described in the CCPA, including the right to know and to delete — and we confirm we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there.

9. Security

Everything is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed, never stored as text. Access to member data is limited to the three administrators named above. Cohort separation is enforced by the system itself rather than by convention, and we test it. No system is perfect; if we ever have a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.

10. Children

DMO Jam is for working professionals. It is not for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

11. Where your data lives

Our providers are in the United States. If you are outside the US, your information is transferred there and protected by the standard contractual clauses in our agreements with them.

12. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email members and change the date at the top. Continuing to use DMO Jam after that means you accept the change.
